Collaborating with the community of Ojochal and the neighbouring towns is another pastime you may want to consider during your holidays. Volunteer work is possible in the following places/organizations:

• - Reserva Playa Tortuga, turtle and cocodrile population research
• - Asociación de Desarrollo Integral de Ojochal, protection and cleaning of beaches, planting of trees, communal vegetable garden, among other activities.
